Cinecombs (“we,” “us”) is a family movie recommendation service. This page explains what information we collect, why, and how you can have it deleted.

What we collect

• Account info: the email address and password you sign up with. If you sign in with Google or Facebook, we receive your name and email from that provider instead.
• Profiles: names and birth years you enter for family members, used to tailor age-appropriate recommendations.
• Watch activity: which films you mark watched, favorite, rate, or filter out, so recommendations improve over time.
• Billing info: if you subscribe, payments are handled directly by Stripe. We never see or store your card number — we only keep your subscription status.

Who we share it with

We don't sell your data. We use a small number of service providers to run Cinecombs:

• Supabase — hosts our database and handles account authentication.
• Stripe — processes subscription payments.
• Vercel — hosts the website.
• TMDB — supplies film metadata (posters, cast, overviews). No personal or account data is sent to TMDB.
• Google / Facebook — only if you choose to sign in with one of those, to verify your identity.

Deleting your data

You can request full deletion of your account and all associated data at any time. See data deletion instructions for how.
